Memorial Day

                                  

-    What is Memorial Day? Memorial Day is when people remember the day when those who died in the military.

-    When is Memorial Day? Memorial Day is on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.

-     What are some ways to show honor and respect on Memorial Day? Some ways to show honor or respect is by going to a memorial parade or watch it on tv. Another way to show respect or honor is to go to a local veterans cemetery or war memorial.

                  

• What are a few things you will do on Memorial Day to show honor and respect ?One thing i would do to show respect to those who have died in the army i would take a moment of silence for those who have past.

Reflection: I feel like more people showed show honor and respect for those who have died and fought in the military or war. I hope people one day can show honor to those men and really feel appreciated. I also feel sad
because they were willing to take there life away to win a war. I really appreciate that because i know many people would be afraid. They didn't just out there life in danger but they also left their family. To me living you family takes a lot of dedication to what you are doing because it seems really hard for me to leave my family and imagine them how they have to leave their family for months and they also have to fight . While they are fighting we are just living our normal life and i feel that we should appreciate them more. I really hope people can appreciate them more because i know from now on i would appreciate them form what they have done.

Reflection: I agree with these 8 reasons to tell the truth because they can really help me in my life. I hope i can look into these reasons to tell the truth because they can really help me and not only me others. I believe people should look more into these reasons because they can really make you a different person because you are telling the truth and you might feel a different way . As i mean in a different is way is because you might feel more trusted in life and you might feel like you can tell the truth at any moment because you are going to choose the right and choose the right path.

   Yoga Therapist

    Duties and Responsibilities: A yoga therapist help to learn many exercises. They also help you adapt to the new exercises.Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues.

    Salary: The amount of salary they get is $36,160 per year and
$17.39 per hour.

    Education:Usually all yoga therapist have a high school diploma. Although you will require a Bachelor’s degree and a Associates degree.

    Reflection: I'm not sure if i would like to become a yoga therapist. Although it is very interesting how they help people that want to stay fit and healthy. Its also interesting how they teach you all the new exercises.

    Reflection : I agree with this goal because it's true if i keep pursuing  my goal/dream and i keep on trying till i get there it will fall in the line and once it is i would check it off my bucket list. I believe this goals say’s a lot about life because if you are doing the right and doing it correctly you will end up being a CTR person because you are choosing the right and that is all that matters. I hope people look into this quote more because it can really help you achieve some goals for example me . I want to graduate high school but in order to do that i have to do the right things and in order to do that i have to make sure it right. Then it would fall into the mine and i would graduate and i will check it off my bucket list.

Education: In order to become a wellness specialist you would require a Bachelor's or master's degree.

                 

  Reflection : I would like to become a wellness specialist because it has something to do with medical and it is health related. It does seem interesting to me as well.

Reflection: I agree with Dennis Pager because having good values in life really helps you in life because it helps you understand. I also believe that it helps you understand how life is. I believe that people should really look into this quote because it does say a lot about how life is as well you want to be trusted you want to be loyal you want to feel wanted and in order to do all of that you have to have good values and in order to have values you have to choose that right.

Veterinarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Veterinarians are educated people to major on a specific medical subject. They work with any type of animal and they make sure they get the help they need. For example here are some Duties they do   

*Examine animals to diagnose their health problems
*Treat and dress wounds
*Perform surgery on animals
*Test for and vaccinate against diseases
*Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
*Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
*Prescribe medication

Salary: The amount of money a veterinarian gets is about $88,490 per year, $42.54 per hour.

Education: In order to become a veterinarian you would require an education which would be Doctoral or professional degree

                  

  World Records

    Summary: I wanted to write about the medical University broke the record on doing a DNA figure with  4,000 people formed to make a structure of a DNA figure. This was interesting to me is how they were able to put people in the right order to form a DNA structure it took 4,000 it must have took them a while to put everybody in their formation. I wonder how they new what order to go on. To me this was pretty interesting.

    Would i want to break a world record ?

I am not sure if i will if i would want to break a world record i would not know what to do there are a lot of people that have broken many records and there is people who are probably planning a record at this moment as I am typing. I am not sure if i would want to break a world record but it is fascinating how they break these records in the world.  

         

Phillip Riggs Four Success Tips

1. Work Hard.
2. Follow your passions. Do things you are interested in doing.
3. Don’t chase after money.
4. Serve others. Do good things for others, and good things will come to you.

    Reflection: I agree with Phillip’s tips to be successful in life. I agree because it is true to be successful you have to work hard. To be successful you also have to follow you passion. You also do things you are interested in. You have to work hard but on something you like doing. Another tip was to not work or do something just for the money don't chase after money as Philip says. Another tip he gave us was to “serve others and do good things and good things will come to you .” As this tip says serve others and do good , good things will come to you. I believe he is right because by doing something right for others good might can back and give you something good in return. As i believe when you do something good you never know what that good thing can give you.       

  “ You knew what i was when you picked me up.”

Summary: This Indian youth was about a young man was climbing up the mountains and once he hit the top he faced something that changed his life. It was a rattlesnake the rattlesnake was saying “pick me up i am am cold and hungry.”He responded with “ oh no i know what you are and you are going to bite me .” The snake responded saying “ I am going to treat you different and i won't bite you i promise.” At the end he ended up choosing the wrong and picked up the snake and took him to the bottom. The young man put him on the floor and in 2 seconds the snake bite the young man. The young man said “ you promised you weren't going to bite me.”   The snake responded and said “ You knew what i was when you picked me up.”

Reflection: In my point of view this can happen to anybody and it doesn't have to deal with a snake it can be peer pressure in school it can be drinking it can be with drugs, and it all happens by making the wrong decision. Life doesn't wait on knew as i learned , so you should live your own life by always choosing the right because you will live the write way.

Reflection: I agree with this Quote because it’s true. In my point of view If you are doing what's wrong in life and lie you are not going to gain any trust and you are just lying to yourself and others. For example you are taking a quiz and you look to your shoulder and you start looking at the answers you are cheating. Let's say you got  high score you might feel happy but what you did was cheat so you shouldn't feel that way. You should feel upset and ashamed . However you can always fixes it by telling the truth and maybe retake the test. However you aren't going to gain anything because only the people who really put in the hard work gets paid off.

                                     

   

     I want to write about today is about Getting a good education and about my grades. I wanted to write about because i want to succeed in life. I hope to be successful  in life as my family. I wan to become a nurse in a hospital to work with kids. However, i also want to become a police officer. I also want to become a engineer. I am confused at this moment because i am not sure what I want to become. My parents are very supportive of me and tell me to go on what I desire. However on the other hand I always wanted to make my parents proud in life so I hope whatever I choose to become my parents are proud and supportive of me. I hope to make them proud on what I do. Who knows if i change my mind in theses pass few years but I hope they are successful for me and very well payed and hopefully i do what ever makes me happy. To me education is the most important thing but i still don't know why I am very lazy o do my work. I always tell my self that i'm going to pick up my grade for math and do my homework everyday and I end up not doing my best. I do have good grades which are B,s AND A,s but i do have a Low C in math and i really don't want to drop it. Even though i always do my homework i end up not doing so great on my test. I hope i can practice and study more and not become lazy and pick up that C to a B. Hopefully i can become a successful person. I also hope to make my parents proud of me . Also want to make my family proud. I also hope to be the first or second to go to University or college . I hope that what ever i do in my future . It helps me to become a good person.

 Education: In order to become a speech pathologist you would require, A master's degree is the minimum education needed,  Licensing is required in most states. Speech therapists must demonstrate compassion, patience, and critical thinking skills. Speech therapists also must possess excellent speaking, listening, and writing skills.

                


Reflection : i would not like to become a speech pathologist because it is not really in my interest.         

       Medical Scientist

   - Duties and Responsibilities: Help to come up with new treatment options such as vaccines. They also do research on bacteria and  and viruses.

   - Education: In order to become a Medical Scientist you would require a  Doctoral or professional degree  

                 

Reflection: I would not like to become a Medical Scientist. I would not because it is not in my interest. However it does seem interesting but i would rather become a registered nurse at a hospital or a police officer. I would also become an engineer.
