Veterinarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Veterinarians are educated people to major on a specific medical subject. They work with any type of animal and they make sure they get the help they need. For example here are some Duties they do   
*Examine animals to diagnose their health problems
*Treat and dress wounds
*Perform surgery on animals
*Test for and vaccinate against diseases
*Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
*Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
*Prescribe medication
Salary: The amount of money a veterinarian gets is about $88,490 per year, $42.54 per hour.
Education: In order to become a veterinarian you would require an education which would be Doctoral or professional degree

       Medical Scientist
   - Duties and Responsibilities: Help to come up with new treatment options such as vaccines. They also do research on bacteria and  and viruses.      
    - Salary: The amount of salary they get is about $90,230 depends on what they do and hours Median pay (annual):$76,980
Median pay (hourly): $37.01
   - Education: In order to become a Medical Scientist you would require a  Doctoral or professional degree

Reflection: I would not like to become a Medical Scientist. I would not because it is not in my interest. However it does seem interesting but i would rather become a registered nurse at a hospital or a police officer. I would also become an engineer.

    Nursing Home Administrator

  Duties and Responsibilities: Nursing home administration is a specialized on an area of medical and health services management. Nursing home administrators work to supervise clinical and administrative nursing homes and related facilities. Typical duties of nursing home administrators include overseeing staff and personnel, financial matters, medical care, medical supplies, facilities, and other duties as specific positions demand.
  

Salary: It depends on if you are a home administrator, for example if you are a home licensed administrator you get paid $60,180 - $122,241, and if you’re a nursing home administrator you get paid $53,582 - $116,429.
  
Education: To become a nursing home administrator you will need a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health care administration, although some nursing home administrators have a master’s degree in long term care administration whether it will be health service administration, public health or business administration.
                                                                                                   
   
Reflection: I would not like to become a nursing home administrator because I would prefer to help kids.

                    Nurse 

Duties and responsibilities:They are mating the patient they check up on the patient and also administrating medication and mating the records for the doctor. 

Salary: hourly they get $33.94 and annually they get 70,590. 

Education:Establishing requirements for initial license and retaining: basic education, continuing education and/or competency

Reflection :I would like to be a nurse because they get paid well and i would love to help people in need because i love helping people.

                   Medical / Health Volunteer Opportunities 


Medical Clinic Volunteer :They help patients with there files when they visit the nurse.

Reflection: I can apply to this because you do not have to be licensed to work at this as a part time.

Health Education and outreach volunteer: They help and assist spreading the word to help make sure people are getting the proper help on their medical health care.

Reflection: I can apply to this because you also do not need to be licensed for this all you have to make sure that you spread out the proper information everyone needs.  

Patient Scheduler: They help patient make sure that they have an appointment ready 

Reflection: I can apply to this because you dont have to be licensed but you have to make sure you have the cert-ant hours

                  Neonatology 

Duties and Responsibilities :They take special care for infants.for example infants that are premature.They help them so they wont have long term health conditions in there children growth. 

Salary: The average they get a year is $227,847.

Education: You need to have 3 years in medical school and graduate.You also need a "M,D" degree.



Reflection: I would like to be a neonatologist because i would really like to work with little kids i always wanted to work with kids.
