Yoga Therapist

    Duties and Responsibilities: A yoga therapist help to learn many exercises. They also help you adapt to the new exercises.Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues.

$17.39 per hour.

    Education:Usually all yoga therapist have a high school diploma. Although you will require a Bachelor’s degree and a Associates degree.  

    Demand for this profession: Employment of fitness trainers and instructors is projected to grow 8 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations.     Reflection: I'm not sure if i would like to become a yoga therapist. Although it is very interesting how they help people that want to stay fit and healthy. Its also interesting how they teach you all the new exercises.

 

                         Speech Pathologist

 Duties and Responsibilities: -Evaluate patients’ levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty

-Identify treatment options

-Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses patients’ specific functional needs

-Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices

-Work with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow

-Counsel patients and families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disorders

 Salary: The amount of annual pay they get is about $73,410

 Education: In order to become a speech pathologist you would require, A master's degree is the minimum education needed,  Licensing is required in most states. Speech therapists must demonstrate compassion, patience, and critical thinking skills. Speech therapists also must possess excellent speaking, listening, and writing skills.

                


Reflection : i would not like to become a speech pathologist because it is not really in my interest.         

       Medical Scientist

   - Duties and Responsibilities: Help to come up with new treatment options such as vaccines. They also do research on bacteria and  and viruses.

   - Education: In order to become a Medical Scientist you would require a  Doctoral or professional degree  

                 

Reflection: I would not like to become a Medical Scientist. I would not because it is not in my interest. However it does seem interesting but i would rather become a registered nurse at a hospital or a police officer. I would also become an engineer.

 Reflexology

 Salary: A Reflexology gets paid about full-time annual salary of $39,760.

 Education: In order to become a Reflexology you will need or require

                         

- Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology or Complementary -Therapies foundation degrees and degrees in complementary or holistic medicine postgraduate qualifications.

 Reflection: I would not want to become a Reflexology because it is not in my interest. However it is fascinating how you can do that to help balance yourself. However, it isn’t really my interest. I would rather become a nurse because it seems fun but it takes a lot of work to become a registered nurse you really have to know a lot about the body.

   Registered nurse

     Duties and responsibilities: A registered nurse is a nurse who has graduated from studying a nursing program. Here 

are some duties that they have to do.

   

-  Perform physical exams and health histories.
- Provide health promotion, counseling and education.
- Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.

    Education: The education you need in order to become a Registered nurse is Bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or nursing diploma.

         

    Reflection: I would like to become a registered nurse that is my goal to be in life. It's not my dream but it would be really good to become a registered nurse because i like the medical field and I know that i am helping people out in there issues.  

    

                     Paramedics

 Duties and responsibilities: Paramedics provide medical attention to ill or injured emergency scene. Responding to 999 calls for medical assistance at accidents, emergencies and other related incidents, usually in an ambulance with an ambulance technician or emergency care assistant to help,helping the condition of patients who are injured or taken ill suddenly providing an immediate course of treatment route to hospital or on scene

 Education: In order to become a Paramedic you would need these following education that is needed  

•  university courses at foundation degree
• Diploma work-based learning

Mental Health Counselor

 Duties and Responsibilities: Mental health counselors educate and support people with mental health issues. (learn.org) these counselors help people  in need because of their problems they have been going there or are going through.  

 Salary: The amount of money they get paid annually is about $40,580.

 Education: To become a Mental Health Counselor you would be needing, Psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or a related mental health field.They also require mental health counselors to be licensed; professional certification is available as well.

                 

 Reflection: I would like to become a counselor for people with mental health because i know that i would help a lot of people. However, i would have to make sure i get the proper education to help these people. I would need to know because anything i say can change their mind to something they probably didn't want to here and things can go worse.  

   X-Ray Technician

 Duties and Responsibilities: use cutting imaging methods to see the inside of the human body. The pictures they create help physicians to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries.

 Salary: Technologists reported that the average salary of X-ray technicians was $53,953 a year, and the median salary reported was $50,149.

 Education: Certificate, associate's and bachelor's degrees in radiologic technology.

 

                      

Reflection: I would like to become a xray technician because it seems very interesting to me a. I would because i can also be able to work with kids.

Psychologist

 Duties and Responsibilities:Psychologists study the human mind. Their research helps us understand behavior, memory and mental health disorders. Through counseling and experimentation, psychologists work to have safety, understanding and good mental health.

 Salary: A Psychologist gets paid Median pay (annual) $69,280 Median pay (hourly): $33.31.

 Education: To become a Psychologist you have to Earn a Bachelor's Degree 4 Years, Earn A Master's Degree 2 Additional Years, Earn a PHD or PsyD 2-4 Additional Years.       

           

Reflection: I would like to become a Psychologist because know the fact that i can help people out makes me feel good that i'm helping people that are seeking for some help.

Pharmacist

 Duties and Responsibilities: A pharmacist is a part of the health care team which are involved with patient care. They give prescriptions medication to patients.

 Salary: Hourly Pharmacist  get paid $56.09. On the other hand they get paid annually $116,670.

 Education: In order to become a Pharmacist  you would need Doctoral or professional degree

            

                              

Reflection: I would like to become a Pharmacist because I would like to work in a medical field one day it's always been my dream to become a nurse for kids or to work at anything as a medical field.  

  

 Duties and Responsibilities: News reporters are responsibilities.For gathering and writing about the news as it happens.They have to find stories that keep readers or viewers informed or entertained.

  Salary: They get paid annually about $24,034 - $71,721.

  Education: Bachelors degree related to mass communication or journalism, masters degree in journalism or related field advancement. 

Reflection : I would like to become a news reporter because it seems fun and seems interesting. 

 

    Nursing Home Administrator

Nursing home administrators work to supervise clinical and administrative nursing homes and related facilities. Typical duties of nursing home administrators include overseeing staff and personnel, financial matters, medical care, medical supplies, facilities, and other duties as specific positions demand.

  

Salary: It depends on if you are a home administrator, for example if you are a home licensed administrator you get paid $60,180 - $122,241, and if you’re a nursing home administrator you get paid $53,582 - $116,429.

  

Education: To become a nursing home administrator you will need a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health care administration, although some nursing home administrators have a master’s degree in long term care administration whether it will be health service administration, public health or business administration.

                                                                                                   

   

Reflection: I would not like to become a nursing home administrator because I would prefer to help kids.    

                                  Flight Attendant 

Duties and Responsibilities : They make sure the passengers are ensure safety and comfort of passengers. 

Salary : median pay  is $37,240  

Education : Requirements for a, Flight Attendant is   High School Diploma. 

Reflection : To me this is a great career but there can be some bad benefits because you never know how the flight can go but overall this career seems fun to try.  

                                     School council 

Duties and Responsibilities: You have to make sure you are good with kids 

Salary $53,610  

Education:  Hold standard teaching license and a master's degree in guidance and counseling; or Master's degree in another area AND completion of an approved program for guidance and counseling. These are some things you would need to become a teacher councilor.

Reflection : I would like to become a councilor because you can help people that need help in school or any other problem that can be personal or just want to ask questions on how to do better in school or what to help them get better in school

 

                    Nurse 

Duties and responsibilities:They are mating the patient they check up on the patient and also administrating medication and mating the records for the doctor. 

Salary: hourly they get $33.94 and annually they get 70,590. 

Education:Establishing requirements for initial license and retaining: basic education, continuing education and/or competency

Reflection :I would like to be a nurse because they get paid well and i would love to help people in need because i love helping people. 

                  Neonatology 

Duties and Responsibilities :They take special care for infants.for example infants that are premature.They help them so they wont have long term health conditions in there children growth. 

Salary: The average they get a year is $227,847.

Education: You need to have 3 years in medical school and graduate.You also need a "M,D" degree.

Reflection: I would like to be a neonatologist because i would really like to work with little kids i always wanted to work with kids. 

                                  Orthodontist

Duties and Responsibilities: are dentist that help patience with their teeth.  They also correct your biting.

Salary: The average Orthodontist gets $196,270. They get two hundred five hundred a year.

Education: To become an orthodontist, the requirements are Undergraduate degree; Doctor of Dental Science degree via the completion of four years of study at an accredited dental school.   

   

                         

              

Reflection: I would not want to be an orthodontist, because I don’t really want to major on that. But it is very interesting that they help patience with their teeth.
